Also the village of Hockley Heath will not be able to cope with the increase of traffic Alyesbury Road is already used as a major cut through when the M42 is busy .

I have examined the plan concerning Hockley Heath and I am deeply concerned about the amount of development proposed. This has nothing to do with the view from my home but we have a flooding problem in this village. Torrential rain causes the main road (A3400) to flood, sometimes enough to close it. The homes alongside the road then flood. Many of us now have flood barriers. You propose to build on the fields behind us. These fields soak up huge amounts of water. Where will that go when you`ve built on them? You will need drainage that doesn`t feed into the village system otherwise we will be under water every time it rains. Please bear in mind that this is not just rain water but sewage as well.

I strongly object to these proposals..
Hockley Heath village is sadly lacking in essential amenities, such as no doctors surgery, no chemist, and low transport facilities. The village school is full due having to take pupils from other developments which did not supply schools. The water supply is extremely low.
The main Stratford road through the village is very busy, and prone to flooding many times. Flooding also occurs quite frequently in outlying areas. developments of this size will mean that existing flood areas will only increase, which could lead to a serious outcome.

Any motorway issues already cause gridlock in the area, additional housing will exacerbate this and cause environmental and safety concerns.
Poor public transport links - proposal will increase traffic.
Diverse wildlife population, including bats, the proposals will destroy their natural habitats.
Road flooding is a major issue during heavy rainfall, the proposal will further exacerbate this issue by removing fields.
Dental appointments and GP appointments are impossible, more residents will make this worse.
Schools over-subscribed and no local secondary school, so authority need to provide transportation.
On the county boundary, so struggle to get a response from emergency services.

New housing in the Warwickshire plan will need infrastructure provided by another authority. This seems like a recipe for endless delay, or possibly no action at all.

Fields south of Aylesbury Road drain into two streams which flow under Vicarage road near the junction with glasshouse lane. Water also flows off the fields onto Aylesbury Road, though there is a drain that should catch some of it. The drain flows into a ditch on Vicarage road. These have lead to flooding along Vicarage Road. Building on these fields, together with the associated roads, will lead to greater run-off, increasing the risk of flooding, not for the new houses but for other areas.

Much of the land offered up is on Green Belt or is farmland.
Some of the proposed areas outside of village (Cut Throat Lane, Saddlers Wells Lane, Ashford Lane) have no pavement, no street lighting, no mains sewage, no mains gas or fibre/reliable broadband.
The same areas are not on a public transport route, there is no doctors, pharmacy, sufficient schools in Hockley Heath to support a much bigger population.
Many of the areas experience flooding on a regular basis in heavy or prolonged rain.

Development of this site would overwhelm the existing road network. The B4439 - A34 junction is already an accident waiting to happen at peak times. Where would all the extra school children and doctor's patients be accommodated? I am also very concerned about the loss of green belt land, hedgerows and woodland, plus potential removal of historic features on the canal network e.g. the bridge in Wharf Lane.
Loss of this site to housing would reduce biodiversity, increase air pollution and impact on the well-being of existing residents of Hockley Heath and Lapworth.

Hockley Heath is a beautiful semi rural village - it does not have the infastructure to cope with large development of housing and associated traffic & pollution. There are insufficient schools & GP surgeries to cope with such a high influx of residents. Such a large development will impact on surrounding areas including Earlswood as well as Tanworth in Arden known for its historical character. The roads simply will not be able to cope. I object to the development of the Hockley Heath region on a number of grounds. Firstly, this area is a small village and we haven't got the infrastructure to support such a large development of houses. The village experiences significant flooding of the main road. The school is full and I understand that the secondary schools are full too. When the motorway closes we have significant traffic through the village, which continues through the night. We do not have a doctors surgery in the village and rely on Dorridge - which is full.

Local services are limited, an oversubscribed school that cannot be expanded, no doctor, police (crime will increase), pharmacy, bank. Together with a poor infrastructure, occasional bus service, no trains and with no local employment, a car is essential.

Roads are already very congested - large periods of the day exacerbated by motorway issues, traffic is at a standstill. Traffic flow would be a major problem.

Insufficient drainage frequently results in flooding (Stratford and Aylesbury) with raw sewerage flowing up through drains.

Hockley Heath has a vibrant comminity within the village and SG24 would expand it so much it would lose its identity and community spirit. It is also greenbelt land which maintains the rural gap.
Also these rural roads are already too busy and SG24 would add to accidents.
Also it is prone to flooding which will be made worse.
If this went ahead SWC would need to give money to Solihull to expand the services , schools, doctors.
Also This is contrary to the Solihull local plan to allow small scale development only.
