I wish to object to the proposals affecting Hockley Heath due to a lack of engagement with local residents and the environmental impact of the developments. The proximity to the green belt and wildlife, including kingfishers and water voles, is concerning. There are also significant flood risks affecting local roads and increased pollution from traffic congestion. Moreover, the local GP services are already inadequate, and the existing primary school cannot accommodate additional residents without expansion. Overall, I believe Stratford UDC has not fully understood the implications for infrastructure and services.

I'm writing to you to express my concern following on from seeing planning proposals for Hockley Heath.

I live on park view overlooking the fields and daily see endless wildlife in there such as deer, monk jack, several breeds of birds and bats who clearly live in this space which in so so sad to be removed for development.

Secondly, there is no infrastructure in place to accommodate such proposals. Already there are lack of doctors spaces locally, not to mention how small the village school is and also no senior schools to accommodate extra children.

It's extremely disappointing to hear there is a possibility of our small village changing when there is not enough infrastructure in place.

Hockley HEATH SG24-I am against the SWLP proposals, the plan does not support the infrastructure of the village.
A housing only proposal, is not sustainable and would lead to greater traffic congestion.
Hockley Heath is already prone to floods with A3400 , SPring lane and SCHool road regularly being flooded. SG24 proposals are all on green belt, loss of this land would harm wildlife and impact biodiversity.
Transport links are currently poor and no easy access to rail services.
Where will new residents readily find employment?

Firstly, we are not against development in the village. I live on a development dating to the 1980s. The Parish Council survey of needs confirmed that local residents wanted no more four bedroom detached houses but a few more bungalows and two bed properties. Plans are in place to achieve this. Building a massive development in the green fields around the village would be a disaster in this context.

Many local lanes are inadequate for traffic levels now, school time parent parking is chaotic and dangerous.

The vision is admirable but unfortunately the plans for SG24 do not meet any of the Ch 9, Ch 7, Ch6, Ch 11, Ch 10 in my opinion. As a resident in the heart of the proposed development I would suggest none of the criteria would be met by building on agricultural and woodland adjoining the M42, along the A3400 and M40 corridors, which need the 'trees, hedges and woodland' to absorb the carbon emissions, not aggravate them and add to them.
