Just heard of the proposed mini town adjacent to Knightcote village and strongly object to it as its going to take away my local radio controlled flying club of which i've been a member for the last 20 years. this has been a saviour for getting away from the hustle and bustle of life and greatly improved my mental health. It would benefit from some of the best transport links once HS2 opens in 2033, the released capacity allowing for stopping at a new station on the site. It could be an envious place to live - homes, jobs, and a community, with the shortest travel times to London in South Warwickshire.

I live in south Warwockshire and I am absolutely not in support of the local plan especially in my area which is directly Northend, Knightcote, Fenny Compton Bishops Itchington and Gaydon etc.

There is flood risk, there is land suitability risk, there is huge overwhelming risk around road and transport infrastructure.

This area of development proposal is at the side of Burton Dassett country park an area of outstanding beauty. There is school, healthcare risk and not enough now let alone for An ever increasing population.

This area marked for development G1 especially is not appropriate. Or suitable!

It will have a significant detrimental impact to biodiversity, heritage sites, rural character, the local community, existing properties and residents, loss of farming. The Feldon Basin land frequently floods, no integrated transport infrastructure, no railway station, dependancy upon cars. There is too much focus on J12 of the M40 in the SWLP. The Feldon area is characterised by the Warwickshire Landscapes Project as “an agricultural region largely unaffected by urban and industrial development. This is its special feature.” Development is not in keeping with the size of existing village communities. Development here will not minimise travel as there is no rail service, sparse bus service, no cycle paths, and distances too great to walk. Development will affect access to country lanes for heathy exercise given JLR to the north, MOD Kineton to the south, the M40 to the east.

1. The character and nature of the area would be severely negatively impacted.
2. It is prime farming land for human and animal crops.
3. The roads will be unable to accommodate the extra traffic. The recently upgraded M40 Gaydon junction is already overstretched, with frequent queuing for vehicles joining or exiting the motorway. And the rail that is in close proximity is an MOD railway, not the national rail network.
4. GP surgeries, schools, village stores would be significantly overstretched.

I have made comments on F2 Deppers Bridge. My concerns are the same for any developments in the Knightcote area, low lying fields often with water covering large areas.
