Please see full attached comment; In conclusion, the proposed release of this greenbelt land directly conflicts with the NPPF’s principles. The site strongly fulfils purposes (a), (b), and (d) of the greenbelt, acting as a critical buffer against urban sprawl, maintaining separation between settlements, and preserving Stratford-upon-Avon’s historic character. It is neither "grey belt" nor previously developed land, and no exceptional circumstances justify its release.
Development here would cause an irreversible loss of openness, harm the countryside’s character, and undermine greenbelt policy. Protecting this land is essential to ensuring sustainable development and safeguarding the long-term public interest.
