Gypsy and Traveller Site Options

I write in reference in clear objection of the proposed plans for a Gypsy / Traveller site to be located at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre.

I am utterly appalled with this proposition as it gives no consideration to those that live within the local area contributing to different tax bodies.

The grounds in which I object are:

* Whilst recently moving to the area I have been fortunate enough to attend one event held at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre and given my keen interest in model sets I plan to visit two further events due to be held at this location by the turn of the year. I fear that should the travellers site be moved here that there would be a significant decline in interest for organisers/attendees of such events and this facility would be lost. Given the plans for HS2 and the possibility of closure of the Stoneleigh Exhibition Centre there would be a detrimental effect on local tourism and indeed Leamington Spa and Warwick.

* My other reasoning for objecting this proposal is that having recently moved to the area I found it hard enough as it was to register myself with the local Doctors surgery - I assume the impact of a significantly increased population would further impact upon this service. I live with my partner and we are currently at the stage of planning a family - having spoken to my neighbour where they have only just managed to secure a place at the local junior school I am concerned with the current availability and would have strong reservations about sending my child to a school several miles away for all the obvious reasons.
