SHLAA R68 - Sunnyside / Valley Road, Radford Semele

I agree with all your comments [SHLAA Asessment] that this is not a suitable site. There was severe flooding in Valley Road a few years ago and even though drainage improvements have been made, run off from developed areas would further exacerbate the flooding problem.

SHLAA 56/21 - SW of Radford Semele:

Further infill and development of the west of the village, combined with expansion of Leamington spa and Whitnash towards us would mean the village loses its identity.

This is a large site and out of keeping with the rest of the village.

Also run off from developed areas would contribute to a potential flooding risk of Whitnash Brook.

Assuming access is via School Lane this would result in more congestion and problems at the School Lane/Southam Road junction.
