The plan for sustainable transport is commendable however in the case of Bearley/Wilmcote the current road network is not able to meet demand that the development would create.
Currently the Birmingham Road into Stratford is frequently gridlocked and there are very few alternative routes if any. The alterations to the top of the Birmingham Road for cyclists does not extend to the road near Bearley and would not be suitable for families with children.

Yes but do it! Don't approve plans for housing and employment South/East of the Avon when the only access is via a 1485 grade 1 listed bridge. Lorries using the medieval Clopton bridge to reach Atherstone on Stour demonstrates planners don't have maps. Alternative last mile exists from Pashley - I have my own.

Sadly the comments on electric vehicles are potentially out of date.
Electric / battery cars are not the long term solution and are increasingly being recognised as as big an environmental issue as petrol and diesel internal combustion engined vehicles. We should take care with how much infrastructure is put in for charging infrastructure.
Long term we are likely to have hydrogen internal combustion engined vehicles or hydrogen / oxygen electricity generation cells electric vehicles.

More free car Parking options should be made available as charges are on the rise and wider and safer roads that can deal with growing transport. The work of the Local Planning Authority and the Highways Authority requires much better
co-ordination in relation to the highway capacity needed to service developments. There are
many inadequacies in the highway network. Some of these are unavoidable because of old
historical layouts but others are more recent and stem from poor integration between land
use planning and transport planning.
The highway infrastructure required for new developments should be installed upfront not
after the development has taken place.
