Why only 30%. Green belt is currently teeming with wildlife which will have nowhere to go through the destruction of prime habitats. In the era where we are now aware of the impacts humanity has on the environment, we should seek to protect and enhance existing habitats. The plans proposed do not do that. Noise and light pollution will further frighten wildlife away from the area
