Yes - but it must be implemented in a more professional and sustainable way than that which was recently employed in Old Town. See Birmingham's Urban Renewal programme.

8a We at BLAST believe that regeneration of under used land that could be made into growing land could provide opportunities to grow food and be more self-supportive across the community - it could also help to reduce waiting lists of existing allotments

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

One suggestion was a New Town (perhaps on line of Milton Keynes (Gaydon and Kineton etc with the obvious links to the M40). However, as with green field sites in Leamington and Warwick will reduce farming/food production sources.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I'm all for the regeneration of deprived areas. It can turn communities around. lift people out of the poverty cycle. I cannot agree to the question asked that the concil has identified all reasonable options as no options have actually been put forward apart from saying it will be on a case by case basis. That's not giving any information on which to make a judgement.

Look again at regeneration possibilities in the towns, to work with owners and developers on imaginative schemes to bring forward brown field sites for housing development.
