Yes. BW support the development of AAP's for deprived areas as identified by the LA. The cross boundary issue relating to Coventry can be addressed by these means.

Pressure should be put on owners of neglected sites in town centres, such as Sainsbury's ownership of former Budgens store in Station Road, Kenilworth.

No. There is no excue for bad education in poor areas. Education officials are not doing their job (and nor are the teachers) if children leave primary school unable to read, an absolute sine qua non for any personal improvement. This should be shaken up.

Land to the South of the M40 would be a good option if some brownfield sites were available, with transport links improved by the Longbridge island road work currently being undertaken.

The District Council has taken an easy option by concentrating 4200 houses to the south of Leamington Spa, Warwick and Whitnash. A greater spread is required.

It would help if the Deprived Areas where mapped. I think we would then see a significant area around the canal from Leamington Old Town, to the south and east, would benefit from a Masterplan to regenerate and redevelop a run-down area. Canalside marina development on those brownfield sites would be an asset. Regeneration is the theme of the RSS, and we should be pro-active in this.
