Large estates generate social problems, so community safety is threatened. Small scale housing, carefully phased over time, within existing communities is the way to go.

Shows inadequate analysis of what gives rise to community disruption and bad behaviour in society. As respondents said, promoting community spirit, must be high on list if we wish to create a society where justice and crime prevention prevail.
Significant work needs to be done in deepening understanding of how and why certain members of community turn to crime. Growing evidence that "community psyche" is at work, long before individuals themselves recognise why they are behaving in a certain manner. Better research will be key to adopting a more efficient Community Safety strategy.

I am very concerned about the impact of anti-social behaviour given the problems of vandalism that already exist in Warwick Gates public spaces.

Community safety strategies are already in place, are they not, for existing development proposals? Any core strategy effects would be an extension of those policies.
