Insufficient details regarding suitable access. Main access is next to Grade 2 Listed Building (Longbridge Manor) which is on dangerous bend in the road with poor visibility and a site of many accidents
SA report identified air, water and soil quality as of significant concern. Suggested that mitigation but little detail given
In flood zones 2 and 3. Caravans are highly vulnerable and should not be permitted. Claimed that this could be mitigated against but no details of work or cost, who will pay and the effect up and down stream.
No mention of the possible effect on the local economy, particularly on Tournament Fields where there is land undeveloped. Detrimental on future demand.
Some objections to this site were given as reasons to dismiss previously considered sites.
Location will not reduce tensions.
Local GPs and schools already busy with added pressure
of imminent future housing. Has sufficient consultation been carried out with local health managers and schools
Access of busy road
Noise issues from M40 and A46
Lack of consultation with local businesses and residents. Two short meetings were held at inconvenient times and no official WDC presence at a public meeting. Speed with which the site has been chosen

Hazardous stretch of road provides access with bend onto sharp dog-legged slip road. Visibility varies with seasons. Fog and mist make junction great risk to safety

Severn Trent has indicated that they would not be willing to allow access over their land which restricts access to a farm track from A429. Not suitable for large or emergency vehicles and bringing it up to standard would incur vast expense making it unviable.
Site is designated flood zone 2 and 3. Caravans are highly vulnerable and should not be built here. Large expanses of hard standing would increase susceptibility.
With the sewage works on one side and motorway on the other, noise and air pollution would make the site unsuitable. Mitigation is mentioned but no details given
Local schools and doctors surgeries are operating above capacity. 15 pitches would result in considerable influx of people pushing amenities beyond point of effectiveness in meeting the needs of local people.
Site was not considered with others. At 6 weeks, the consultation period was too short and level of consultation inadequate. The 'drop in' session were inconvenient for those working. Disappointed that no-one from WDC attended public meeting.

The other two sites at Europa Way and Harbury Lane should be added to this and a larger site provided at Longbridge under the control of the Council and not outside commercial bodies.
Travellers should not be 'dumped' out in the countryside; they are not part of it any more than urban dwellers

Severn Trent has objected to the site and taking away the access over their land. This means access would have to be via the farm track from a dangerous bend in Stratford Road. The access is unsuitable and unfair on Longbridge Village.
Concern about the disposal of waste into the River after experience of illegal encampment. Danger to motorway drivers if waste finds its way onto the road.
Proposed landscaping and screening would damage the ecology. No amount of screening would protect residents from road noise in poorly insulated dwellings.
Hazard to children being close to motorway and river.
Poor air quality.
Unlikely to feel integrated if dumped in an unsuitable environment.
Flood risk.
Impact on Tournament Fields which still has vacant plots, and new land Severn Trent wishes to develop.
Not economically viable and therefore not deliverable.
Fifteen pitches is too many and will quickly expand. Should be smaller sites where risk is reduced.
Inadequate consultation. Site was not on original list and is now being hurried through. Drop in times were inconvenient for many.

Will present unpleasant outlook.
Dogs are kept, usually outdoors, that are aggressive to strangers and noisy.
Standard of sites vary according to families.
Main mode of transport is transit vans and pick-up trucks and parking is inadequate.
Most sites are in rural areas which suits residents.
Individual pitches if vacant become dumping grounds.
Lot of effort gone into landscaping along Stratford Road for a pleasant approach, it would be a shame to spoil it.

Persistent noise from motorway. Safety issues of proximity of site to motorway.
Homes, hotels and restaurants surround the site.
Fifteen pitches will take up small area. With so much land around, there is potential for expansion beyond what is allowed.
