If this area is to be developed transport links across the A46 to Hampton Magna should be included to ease the congestion that already exists around the Birmingham Road roundabout. It would also be a fantastic opportunity to modernise the digital infrastructure connecting to Hampton Magna and Hatton.

Strongly object to development located here, prone to flooding from Gog Brook, also subject to high levels of pollution and noise form the A46, situated next to St Mary's Lands which is a public green space where efforts are being made to protect wildlife and enhance the space for everyone. Serious infrastructure concerns where cars are feeding onto an doff the A46.

I would not support the loss of the racecourse due to the tourism it brings to Warwick I would also not support what is an extension of the Chase Meadow development - which poorly designed. Even he bus can't access it without mounting pavements in 3 locations. This site would also be suitable for hospital expansion and should be protected as such for this purpose.

I am against this being included due to: the impact on the rural character of the area; the visual impact on the area viewed from the adjacent St. Mary's Lands; loss of public footpaths through the area, enjoyed for their location in green space; the loss of trees and hedgrows in the proposed area; the detrimental impact on Gog Brook; the loss of habitats for wildlife.

It's greenbelt. Additionally, the district is already absolutely choked with traffic and Warwick Hospital is not coping. Birth rates are now declining.

Concerns included addition water provision additional sewage additional demands for electricity internet without any mention as to how the overload is going to be managed without reducing the present services provided.
Additional traffic will add to further congestion on roads that cannot cope now. No mention of road widening new access routes to A46 A4177 or M40.

Continuing massive amount of building in the area to the south of SG08- Chase Meadow and Tournament Fields, with a loss of space for wildlife. Also lots of building at Hampton Magna in the fields. SG08 is not naturally connected- out on a limb?
SG08 will lead to loss of green fields and hedges. Too close to A46 so unsightly noise barriers would have to be used . Brook nearby-what is flood risk? Too close to Racecourse which is heavily used by walkers and racecourse related activities. How will traffic leave the site?

This is one of the last green spaces in central Warwick, next to ancient woodland and protected species of birds who nest here every year. This land must be treated with immense respect so that we continue to enjoy the biodiversity within Warwick we are lucky to have around St Mary’s Lands. Development on this land would forever destroy this for future generations of wildlife and locals. This land should be protected FROM development rather than earmarked for development.

This site is well supported by the existing infrastructure of the A46 and proximity to Warwick Parkway Station which has excellent facilities for parking. It is also is in close proximity to all the existing significant community services and facilities in Warwick town centre and could access further local community resources in Chase Meadow opposite/over the Henley Road.

We are applying for 6th Form 2025, and two have said that they’re unprecedentedly oversubscribed. One issued us with an early rejection, citing the number of applicants this year, despite our student having the required predicted grades for entry.
Went to Warwick A&E in 02/25–no seats free in waiting room, was there for hours, dr examined me stood in the corridor, due to lack of space.
Birmingham Road is often backed up headed east toward Warwick/A46–often 2 miles past Hatton Arms Pub.
Inappropriate to develop Green Belt.
It is already difficult to get a GP appointment at Priory.

I believe it will encroach on important wildlife habitats, whilst also increasing further pressure on healthcare services within the district. Notably A&E services which are already stretched, with it placed in the highest category for the first time regarding how stretched they are, in recent months. There are already limited school placements within the Warwick area, and with parents needing to travel further - increasing congestion on roads and increasing pollution.

Very Special circumstances for including greenbelt land have not been met.
This area abuts a wide area of openness between Warwick and Redditch and perhaps represents a least worst option for greenbelt use from an openness and preventing urban sprawl perspective.
It already contributes significantly to recreation, health and biodiversity so inclusion may not support the SWLP overall aims.

SCG08 - Strategic Growth Location West of Warwick Group - OBJECT
Road infrastructure inadequate to accommodate large goods vehicles/increased traffic volume. Increased traffic will cause further congestion in and around existing residential areas where there is evidence of congestion and ques acessing traffic controlled island/access to A46 during peak communiting hours. Furher congestion will impact existing congestion exiting A46 onto the Birmingham Road. Further exaberated by potential impacts of SGO7 proposal and Hatton development 8000 homes and increased traffic volume and congestion (Site B1). Road infrastructure inadequate rat run traffic routes through Chase Meadow, Hampton on Hill and Hampton Magna.

This is non-green belt land and therefore a much more appropriate potential development site. No homes should be being built on green belt land as a part of this SWLP, when there are other sites, including this one, available!

This wider area has already been subject of further development, such as Hatton Park, Hampton Magna and the Warwick Parkway Station, resulting in the road network being congested and at a standstill for long periods at peak times which also increases air pollution. Therefore any significant housing development will just exasperate the situation for everyone.
