I agree in general. Developers should carbon audit new and proposed schemes and net-zero certificate issued by the Council.

This policy should include reinstating rail links such as the Stratford to Honeybourne link. This would decrease car dependency more than any policy.

Whilst I agree with the proposed objectives, I have to note visible absence of objectives related to agricultural sustainability and importance of maintaining and supporting local food production, given the fact that we are a rural district. In South Warwickshire agriculture uses 76% of the land and plays an important role in the local economy yet there is no mention of it as a strategic objective. It would have been helpful to include objective that sees South Warwickshire supported to increase its food production.
