Warwickshire Police (WP) and West Mercia Police (WMP) are pleased to see a reference under paragraph 2.55 to the need for emergency services infrastructure at Kings Hill.
In common with similar major developments granted planning permission in Warwick District by the Council
and the Secretary of State recently (see spreadsheet enclosed in attachments Appendix 1), the police infrastructure required to support sustainable development at Kings Hill will need to include:
* Equipping of officers and staff
* Police vehicles
* Premises
Based on the information available to us, WP and WMP envisage that the policing of the development would
be delivered by the Kenilworth Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), operating from an on-site police office
within the Kings Hill scheme.
