Object to site at Kings Hill
Green belt and should remain so. Primarily in agricultural use - unless soil is protected there is danger of local flooding and environmental damage caused by lack of carbon dioxide conversion.
Area contains many animal and bird species requiring our protection, not destruction of their habitat.
Surrounding area is not able to cope

Fields are used for crops and livestock - valuable farming land.
Wild life will suffer - muntjacks, squirrels, rabbits, pheasants and many more will lose habitat.
Previous plans to develop site thrown out 30 years ago - Coventry, Kenilworth, Leamington and Warwick would become urban sprawl.

Green area around south of city has been gradually eroded over the years, lost to Warwick University and housing and bringing traffic chaos.

Finham currently on the edge of countryside alongside the green belt, with its wildlife and farm land. The gap between Coventry and Kenilworth would be significantly reduced. Farmers would lose their livelihood.

Precedent - allowing green belt land to be developed will allow similar decisions to be made regarding other green belt sites.

Loss of green belt. Does not look to the future when we need green space and farming land to grow enough food. Not been clearly demonstrated that all brown field land utilised. Green space to south of city special and gives some division between Coventry and Kenilworth.

Essential green belt is maintained. Natural habitat for wildlife. Green areas, wood and forests are lungs of the planet and destruction would add to climate change not reduce it as cannot dictate to people where they will work.

The Finham proposal fails on the below counts;
Vast areas of green belt loss, Vast areas of farmland loss, Flooding / drainage issues adjacent to Green Lane, loss of ancient hedgerows,trees ponds containing buzzards,owls,crested newts etc
