Relunctantly yes, as it effectively merges Kenilwrth with Coventry. However, given the housing numbers required and the proximity of employment areas and reasonable communications it seems a sensible choice.

I am in favour of this, as long as you have carefully considered how much traffic there already is during rush hour on Stoneleigh Road, and you have a clear plan to avoid this getting worse (eg building a new train line in the area for sustainable travel)

Focussing development around existing more densely developed areas is a good approach and reduces travel time and pollution as people move to work.

Having moved to the area recently, one of the biggest benefits is the fact that it is quiet, calm and we’re surrounded by nature. The current doctors schools and amenities do not have the capacity to take on the amount of houses which have been provided, and there are no plans to extend these. Additionally more houses (including inevitable social housing) will bring the value down of the existing houses in the local area and will likely push others out.

The plan does not take into account the scale of development in the area and need for infrastructure to be significantly up graded, including the expansion needed to schools. Plus, the growth area covers an huge area of green land and buts onto the greenway, which doesn’t align with your other strategic goals of protecting green spaces for people and communities. To enjoy. It also removes much needed green corridors between major urban areas, which allows wildlife to move around large urban areas, Furthermore, if this area of land is utilised, kenilworth will eventually lose its distinct separation from Coventry.

Not enough consideration has been given to existing communities, the impact on infrastructure and also wildlife corridors, the size of this allocation directly contradicts many of the straight points and also significantly impacts the greenway and green spaces.

Those of us who live in Burton Green have suffered enough, thanks to the waste of public funds, HS2. This was a beautiful village, we moved here for a quiet life and for the nearby countryside and it has been destroyed, to the detriment of our health and well-being. To find out that the "powers that be" wish to turn us into a suburb of Coventry and destroy even more nature and wildlife is infuriating. I support the addition of the almshouses, in principle, but adding extra dwellings is not acceptable.

HS2 has disrupted my life, without any foreseeable benefits to anybody in this country. I have no wish to see any further developments to be thrust upon Burton Green against our wishes.

The SG01 provides not just a vital green belt but also a well used recreation and sustainable travel route (for cyclists, horse riders and pedestrians) for University of Warwick campus and the Kenilworth/Coventry community. Already some of ecosystem has been disrupted by HS2 construction work; therefore I think it is important at least some of it is preserved.

The Group is in a sensible location but extends too far south. For various reasons including preserving the identity of Kenilworth and keeping a distance from HS2, the area should stay north of Crackley Lane and Cryfield Grange Road.

Objections: 1. Flooding in the Crackley Gap between HS2 and Cryfield Grange road will cause serious subsequent problems.
2. Encroachment on the greenbelt between Coventry and Kenilworth will seriously affect the town's independent status and is opposed by the people of Kenilworth massively.
3. Wildlife present in this area is critical and once destroyed, is not present anywhere else in the Kenilworth area, thus altering the nature of Kenilworth as a town literally.
Please note that it is not the whole area that I object too at all, as I do accept the need for housing, but just Crackley area.
