Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The infrastructure of this area is relatively well placed to support new housing developments. As well as jobs in the local area existing road networks and potential rail network developments would cope better with an increase in population than the Stratford town infrastructure. Development here would result in less loss of greenbelt land and less urban sprawl.

This area already has good existing road connections, also would take pressure of the already overstretched Stratford upon Avon Town Centre & local roads that are already struggling in the A46 Birmingham road area .
Also minimise the impact on green belt land.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

New settlements can be driven by strategic opportunities rather than land availability. They would alleviate congestion pressure on Stratford and could meet all housing needs with minimal environmental impact, preserving greenbelt land. Additionally, new settlements help avoid urban sprawl, which strains existing infrastructure.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

This location has connections to existing road infrastructure and nearby employment opportunities.
Potential rail links (Chiltern line and HS2) are within a short distance from the homes.
Congestion would be considered and allowed for during the early stages of development rather then retro-fitting into existing road networks.
Development here has the opportunity for extension and prevent urban sprawl in existing towns and protect important greenbelt land.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I believe this location represents an appropriate use of brown and green belt land to develop a new settlement that can include all the necessary amenities needed without impacting on already overstretched towns like Stratford.
There are good links to existing roads available now, and future opportunity to utilise the nearby rail links , both affording access to local and commutable job opportunities

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

There are excellent, high quality job opportunities particularly with JLR and Aston Martin on the doorstep along with excellent road connections including the M40, providing easy access is provided to local towns. This would support housing growth by strategic need and not just land availability. This site does not impact greenbelt land which should be preserved. It does not add to the urban sprawl and congestion of Stratford upon Avon.

Its closer to M40 better for commuting,

There areas would meet all building requirements, preserving our Green belt land.

As with SG13 I feel like this location is a strong choice to help reduce the congestion pressure on stratford and provide the infrastructure needed with the minimal amount of impact on our green spaces. There are already great existing road connections and job opportunities nearby.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The region boasts excellent job prospects and established road networks, with the possibility of a new Chiltern line railway station located just 2 miles away, potentially functioning as a parkway station. HS2 could offer rapid connections to major commuting hubs. New developments can be guided by strategic opportunities rather than land availability, reducing congestion on Stratford. These areas can fulfil all housing requirements with minimal environmental impact, safeguarding greenbelt land, and preventing urban sprawl, which burdens existing infrastructure.

Development of job opportunities.
New settlement will avoid urban which strains existing infrastructure.
Good existing road connections
Potential for new chiltern line railway station -only 2 miles from homes & could provide parkway station
HS2 could offer quick links to key commuting areas
New settlements can be driven by strategic opportunities not land availability
Would take the congestion pressure off Stratford
These areas could meet all housing needs which least impact on the environment preserving greenbelt land

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The proposed development will provide houses to cover demand for the area. It will also provide new job opportunities and new settlements that will driven by strategic opportunities instead of land availability. This would remove congestion pressures from Stratford especially on the Birmingham road and pressure on existing infrastructure. The development will also provide opportunities for new schools, hospitals, shopping centers and towns. HS2 could offer faster links to key communities and newer railway stations to cater for the demand

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I support the SG14 site as it provides better infrastructure and sustainability. These locations offer excellent job opportunities, strong road connections, and the potential for a new Chiltern Line railway station, enhancing connectivity. With HS2 providing fast links to key employment areas, these sites align with strategic growth needs rather than just land availability. Developing new settlements here would relieve congestion in Stratford, protect the Green Belt, and ensure housing needs are met with minimal environmental impact. By preventing urban sprawl and avoiding strain on existing infrastructure, these sites represent a smarter, more sustainable approach to regional development.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

This proposal along the B4451 is unneccessary as there is already an excess of industrial development land on the JLR site (SG13).
The current landscape along the B4451 is open fields on one side and wooded environment on the other which would not benefit from being concreted over - this is in conflict with some of the "5 overarching principles" of the plan -
"a well designed and beautiful S.Warks" - industrial units - no.
"bio diverse and environmentally resilient S.Warks - industrial units - no.
Any development along the B4451 would render this a more dangerous road.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

With excellent, high-quality jobs on the doorstep with JLR and Aston Martin, this is a highly desirable growth location. Furthermore, with superb existing road connections including the M40, there is easy access to local towns including Banbury, Warwick and Leamington. This would support housing growth by strategic need and not just land availability. This site does not impact greenbelt land which should always be preserved. It does not add to the urban sprawl and congestion of Stratford upon Avon.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

This development area is unnecessarily large on the eastern side of the motorway. The area around JLR and Aston Martin is understandable in that it already exists and it has good employment opportunities but on the east side of the M40 is country side and need not become developed. There is sufficient area on the west of the M40 to sustain commercial and residential development.

Also the east side of the motorway has already been developed as a large solar farm AND is visible from the Burton County Park. .

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The current road B4451 would not sustain the increase in large vehicles, light pollution of the surrounding woods would be an issue, affecting the the wildlife. Low lying areas of the location are prone to flooding, which will only increase if large area of tarmac/concrete are laid down. The few dwellings at Lower Spring farm would be surrounded by industrial development, with loss of privacy and overshadowing.

I believe that using this land would avoid 'urban sprawl' of other existing towns and villages. Utilising this land would protect Greenbelt land and would help to take the awful congestion pressure off Stratford.

Ymatebydd: Mr Ed Hargreaves

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I strongly object to the proposed development off Lighthorne Road near Kineton. This plan violates NPPF policies on sustainable development (para 8), protecting rural landscapes (para 174), and overloading local infrastructure (para 104). The roads cannot support the increased traffic, and essential services will be overwhelmed. This scale of development destroys rural character and contradicts the council’s duty to promote balanced, dispersed growth. Building here prioritizes developer profits over community needs and fails to meet sustainability tests. This must be rejected in favor of a better-planned, infrastructure-led approach.
