Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I am concerned about the impact on our village much of which is a conservation area. The scale of development right up to our borders threatens Charlecote’s village status. We risk being swallowed up by the developments. The proposed developments would significantly damage the character and beauty of the landscape. I urge the council to rethink these plans.

A development of this size is inappropriate for a rural area around two villages which do not have the necessary infrastructure such as schools, transport networks and healthcare to cope with the additional population.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Wellesbourne has already had more than its fair share of development.
The village suffers from lack of resources parents having to take their children to 2 different schools through lack of spaces. Patients at the Dr’s and dentist struggling to get appointments.
Flooding will only increase with climate change and the lack of flood plains bringing misery to villagers.
This beautiful ancient village full of history is swiftly losing its identity with so many warehouse’s and factories.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Accepted as probably inevitable but be aware of the traffic impact on the A429 and the impact on Barford Bypass junctions which will need upgrading to handle more vehicles - already a problem at peak times - even worse if the proposed quarry goes ahead.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Wellesbourne is a partly self-contained village and, as such, can accomode reasonable expansion, provided local amenities are expanded to provide for more people. The scale of the proposed development is probably too large in relation to the original and recent housing in the village.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I object on the grounds of quality of life, the changed face of Wellesbourne. Traffic and infrastructure is a massive problem already.
Schools are full, the Dental surgery is full and GP surgery is struggling as.
Flooding risk will be hugely increased as so much concrete will not allow for water run off.
Devastation of green areas, hedgerows etc, will hugely deplete wildlife and bird populations.

This site is a convenient extension to the already dense and recently expanded area of housing in Wellesbourne. It is in direct proximity to all the existing community services and facilities available in Wellesbourne and access to the A429 and M40 is also very convenient.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Without major development of basic societal needs in the area, schools, drainage , sewage, medical social services etc the proposed additional housing will irreparably harm the town and its identity. Additionally, the proposed housing development on greenfield farming land will mean there will be a gap between the new build and old town that will inevitably become built over and further risk old town flooding

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Charlecote is a separate village and community to Wellesbourne with its own identity and should remain so for future generations. What I see with the local plan is the growth of Wellesbourne that in effect amalgamates the village into the larger conurbation of Wellesbourne. Charlecote will inevitably lose that special "village feel" without the light and noise pollution of being close to a larger light industrial and housing 'town'

Wellesbourne is a rural VILLAGE these plans threaten our village standing, we don’t have the infrastructure to support anymore houses in the village, our doctors surgery, dentist and school is at max capacity! Not to mention the destruction of our lovely wildlife! I implore you NOT to go ahead with these plans for the future happiness of Wellesbourne and the lives of the people living in it depends on it. Please listen to the people rather than your pockets.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Wellesbourne is already over populated. The school is oversubscribed, the doctors surgery is at breaking point and the dentist is full. More houses will only make this worse. Wellesbourne is meant to be a village...more houses will make it a town which will drive current residents to move away. We moved here for the countryside lifestyle and more houses will ruin this. More houses will require more schools, that is non negotiable. Wellesbourne cannot accommodate more housing. Find other land.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Absolutely no consideration given to the increased demand for services, ie dentist, doctors, schools…already been extensive building here over last few years. No improvement in infrastructure & the increased population means more traffic congestion and more pollution. Loss of green spaces, shows nothing but utter contempt for village and community already here.

Ymatebydd: Andrew Close

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

This proposal is worrying given the amount of housing/mixed use proposed when compared to other areas of similar sizes. The density is wrong and its location is clearly not sustainable; nowhere near a mainline train station. Car travel and air pollution will increase and must mean both the site-specific and cumulative impacts can't be mitigated to any appropriate satisfaction. The SA document conclusions indicating the potential for development here are far too high-level and should be reviewed. This option appears contrary other plan's policies.

I am writing to formally object to the planning application for the construction of houses on the field located behind the properties “Long Ground” and “The Old Orchard” along Lowes Lane in Wellesbourne (Site Ref 623: Lowes Lane/Walton Road – Well.07B). I object to this development based on numerous issues that make this site unsuitable for residential development.

Ymatebydd: Miss Jo Brown

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I object to this! Wellesbourne does not have the infrastructure to meet the needs of this development. The school in wellesbourne and surrounding areas are already full. The G.P practices are already full. We have seen increased flooding due to recent housing developments and this will exacerbate the issue will no space for water to flow/drain. Wellesbourne already struggles with Traffic flow, which will be made worse by the new Quarry at ..., meaning the extra cars this plan will create will cause even more traffic chaos. It is an unsustainable long term solution

Ymatebydd: Stratford upon Avon Town Centre Strategic Partnership

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

While these are not considered as a new settlement, the potential agglomeration size means that they may function in a similar way. With no fast connectivity such as rail, and with buses providing the only viable public transport to Stratford-upon-Avon, the effects on traffic in the town and approaches would be untenable. TTG do not support these locations without a proper traffic assessment and planned infrastructure improvements in advance of development.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I have concerns about the traffic and infrastructure issues in Wellesbourne, particularly with the proposed construction of thousands of new homes. Currently, parking and traffic congestion are significant problems, exacerbated by delivery vehicles and market days. If 5,000 new homes are built, it could lead to 40,000 additional vehicles, creating gridlock. Furthermore, I question how utilities and services can be expanded when existing providers struggle. There seems to be little consideration for sustainable energy solutions, like solar power. Additionally, there are conflicting plans regarding the future use of Wellesbourne Airfield, leaving the local community without constructive answers.
