Our concern is that we purchased a retirement apartment 3 years ago and the Banbury road going south is already becoming a race track and a major disappointment. We believe further development will just increase this problem.
Our other major concern is the increase in any proposed residential development will also greatly increase traffic congestion across the Clopton Bridge which is also a problem!!

Growing Stratford to the East is encroaching into rural farming land and facilities and buss/park and ride links are poor to the East of Stratford.

The Residents of Tiddington want to remain as a village. The roads, especially Tiddington road and Banbury Road cannot cope with the road traffic as it is at the moment.
It would be a shame if those lovely fields used by the village for walking and enjoyment are made into yet more housing estates. Stratford Upon Avon has had many houses built within the last two years and I cannot see where any of the infrastructure to support these new dwellings would come from. E.g Doctors , shops, schools, roads around the town, crossing the ever so busy bridge in Stratford.

I live in Stratford and I’m alarmed by the unhealthy levels of air pollution which I attribute mostly to the amount of static or slow moving traffic in and around the town centre. I walk and run around town and occasionally drive myself. I am concerned that more action is needed to address the traffic and air and water pollution issues. More development works and residents will only compound the issue. We need a more radical, attractive and creative solution to reduce short car journeys. How about a free electric shuttle bus that takes people across town?

I do not agree with building further housing to the east of Stratford-upon-Avon.
The town’s infrastructure cannot cope with such a level of additional housing and I do not agree with building on this green land

Stratford is popular place to visit and has expanded over recent years. Consider limited expansion to the town and local facilities (transport and shopping).

Totally opposed. No benefit to net biodiversity can come from Green field site development when there is so much to be done in the town centre itself. Total lack of vision or imagination to do anything with the town other than build on empty green fields all around it.

Some of the areas (Trinity Mead) are well-used key locations for residents to access green space for their physical and mental health.
The road infrastructure in this area is already under significant pressure - long queues are experienced at rush hour and on weekends around Banbury Road/Tiddington Road going into town. The developments would be too far from town to enable other modes of transport.

I strongly disagree with the plan to build more houses in Stratford-upon-Avon. The traffic in the town is unbelievable, residents are extremely angry, parking is very Limited. Infrastructure and roads must be improved first, before new houses are build.
Government should focus on renovating empty homes rather than building more and destroying green areas and destroying nature.

This would destroy the village community the beautiful green belt and the wildlife would be decimated with all natural wildlife habitats destroyed, this should not be allowed to happen, no plans for infrastructure or the chaos on the road and disruption

The amount of development being proposed will fundamentally change the character of stratford which is a historic town. Building this many houses will put further pressure on the roads, infrastructure and environmental impact , schools and gp facilities where getting appointments is already difficult. This is putting more pressure on a town that already struggles with existing housing levels.

SG19 is already being promoted by Gatesby Estates with surveys being carried out with provision for new access adjacent to allotments.
I feel that the Council are not being open and know more than the public. I feel that a decision has already been decided.
Current infrastructure is not adequate for increased traffic.
Not viable to improve highways due to existing constraints( river, bridge, footways etc)
Safety concerns along Tiddington Road and through village due.
Long queues and delays into Stratford at junction with Banbury Road, Bridgfoot.
Safety concerns and HGV's using Clopton bridge .
No facilities for cyclists.

The infrastructure in the local area is not sufficient for further development. There will be increased car dependency and traffic on the A429 and local roads, and the lack of rail infrastructure is not consistent with sustainable transport across the wider county.

The proposed area includes land which is part of the Bridgetown Woodlands and Meadows Nature Reserve. This Reserve should be protected even if you build adjacent to it.

As much as I love the green spaces directly adjacent to Stratford, I feel this is a sensible location for additional houses if required. However It must be noted that the traffic is a nightmare, getting a doctors appointment is a nightmare, this needs to be addressed.

I am less in favour of SG19 given the links to transport. Unless Stratford build a circular road I do not understand how sensibly a decision to locate here and not impact travel and congestion is mitigated.

Part of the proposed build area includes part of Bridgetown Woodlands and Meadows nature reserve (as described in the Neighbourhood Development Plan 2015-2031). The woodland was planted more than 20 years ago and should be kept. The area provides an important green corridor for people's well-being and for wildlife. I presume you could build around it provided it is protected

I don't believe there should be any building south of Trinity Way road. The continued urban sprawl is ruining the character and attractiveness of the town. It is becoming one big homogenous housing estate making it the same as so many other towns.
All rights of way should be maintained

Two of the fields adjacent to Trinity Way road are used by families and dog walkers. They provide an important outlet for peoples well-being. If these fields are built on it will put extra people pressure on the recreation ground near the river, which can be very busy.
If these 2 fields are built on, 2 of the adjacent fields should be made into a park. As Stratford grows it is important green corridors are maintained near the town centre for the well-being of people and wild life. Without these green corridors Stratford will become a massive, unattractive housing estate.

This balances development east and west of Stratford with SG18. It will need good active travel support (including a better foot/cycle crossing of the Avon) to stop people wanting to drive into the town and making congestion and air quality worse.
