Proposal is to close to the Holy well area. Not enough infrastructure in Southam to cope with expansion. River floods very often by the Holy Well. The fields either side of the Holy well are one of the only areas in Southam used for dog walkers. The holy well area is a huge historical site for Southam which brings lots of visitors. There are other areas of Southam that are more suitable for housing development such as by the bypass/Daventry Road area.

The fields to either side of the holy well walk are of historical significance and bring lots of visitors to the town. The proposed build from welsh road west is marked to go all the way down to the river, thus disturbing the natural spring which feeds the holy well and could therefore destroy the feature. The holy well walk is an area of outstanding natural beauty and an important area for the mental and physical wellbeing of Southam residents` and pets therefore building here would ruin the aesthetic of the area. I implore you to reconsider this proposed area.

The developments to the west of Southam on Leamington road and Welsh road, is not suitable for development as it has inadequate infrastructure and on/around land of historical importance. Planning permission on Leamington Road has been previously refused. I strongly object to these developments.

I do not support - too much development with too little infrastructure. HS2 causing massive disruption to life and the environment. We do not need anything more.

The proposed development areas in Southam lack a sustainable community vision and would severely impact residents, even with just 25% of them utilised. The plans would almost double the town's size without addressing necessary infrastructure. Development along the Stowe Valley flood plain threatens attractive green spaces and risks flooding new homes. Additionally, the inclusion of Wood St car park, a vital community asset for local businesses, and the Factory Shop, which serves an important role, would further harm the town's vitality.

Absolutely 100% - logical infill and good for the town to bring business and housing. Only concern I have is the transport links to encourage businesses other than "min. wage" "box shifter type business" to locate there.

- Unacceptable loss of the only car park in the centre of Southam, which will undoubtedly have an impact on local businesses, Including banks, post office, shops, pharmacy, etc. How do you expect the people from the villages around Southam to get to the centr and park? In Stockton, for example, there isn't even a pavement to walk to Southam, therefore we are forced to take the car.
- Where is the plan to increase local services ? You are doubling Southam size, what about the GPs? And the NHS dentists? Schools? Police? Etc etc

Southam has doubled in size and its character is now being lost. Whilst I support some limited development, this should be to the North West and South West of the town as it provides better links and accessibility to amenities/schools. The site to the North East is totally unacceptable due to:- flooding at the bottom of the site and development will make this worse; its non-connectivity to the town with the by-pass causing major safety issues for pedestrians; traffic flow accessibility into this site and it was taken out of the last SDC development plan as a recognised green space.

Southam has has unprecedented growth in the last few years - no rail access and growth has been overwhelmingly dependent on car and road - infrastructure has been lacking - Wood Street car park as development is unacceptable and would affect the vibrancy of the town.

Reasons:
1. Good job opportunities
2. Good existing road connections
3. HS2 could offer links to other regions
4. Reduce congestion in Stratford upon Avon
5. Housing here likely to have least impact on environment and preserve greenbelt land
