I feel that this location is a good option as it could meet the housing needs but with the least impact on our greenbelt spaces and the environment. It could also be a good spot for a new chiltern line parkway station to help alleviate some of the congestion pressure off stratford.

The area offers good job opportunities and existing road connections, with potential for a new Chiltern line railway station just 2 miles away, possibly serving as a parkway station. HS2 could provide quick links to key commuting areas. New settlements can be driven by strategic opportunities rather than land availability, easing congestion pressure on Stratford. These areas can meet all housing needs with minimal environmental impact, preserving greenbelt land, and avoid urban sprawl, which strains existing infrastructure.

The proposed development will provide houses to cover demand for the area. It will also provide new job opportunities and new settlements that will driven by strategic opportunities instead of land availability. This would remove congestion pressures from Stratford especially on the Birmingham road and pressure on existing infrastructure. The development will also provide opportunities for new schools, hospitals, shopping centers and towns. HS2 could offer faster links to key communities and newer railway stations to cater for the demand

I strongly support the inclusion of SG13 but suggest it should include the 13 acre field fronting Warwick Road and surrounded by JLR land.

SG13 is a superior choice for development due to their accessibility, economic potential, and sustainability. Located near employment hubs and key transport links, including the possibility of a new Chiltern Line station and HS2 access, these sites support strategic growth while reducing pressure on Stratford’s overburdened infrastructure. They provide a more balanced solution, meeting housing demand without sacrificing protected Green Belt land. New settlements in these areas avoid urban sprawl, minimize environmental impact, and ensure long-term economic viability. Choosing these sites supports responsible planning that enhances regional connectivity while preserving Stratford’s historic and natural character.

With excellent, high-quality jobs on the doorstep with JLR and Aston Martin, this is a highly desirable growth location. Furthermore, with superb existing road connections including the M40, there is easy access to local towns including Banbury, Warwick and Leamington. This would support housing growth by strategic need and not just land availability. This site does not impact greenbelt land which should always be preserved. It does not add to the urban sprawl and congestion of Stratford upon Avon.

The development in this area would
a. substantially degrade the, amenity, natural environment and health environment for Lighthorne and Gaydon residents
b. Development at Gaydon Lighthorne Heath and JLR has already proven that the local infrastructure (roads..many single track country lanes, water and sewerage etc. are all failing to cope and are being routinely degraded via the burden of additional traffic volumes. further development of the scale envisaged
c. flash flooding is an issue in the area that would be increased by scale development in SG13

commenting is ridiculously complicated - as if you don't want feedback.
where is the infrastructure?
what services are included to support the already overloaded network?
what is being done to protect the character of the area?
sites are effecting huge swaths of countryside and wildlife what is being done to protect them?
How many empty houses are in the area and How many are already being built? Where is the proof of need?
solar farm developments also taking countryside
road networks between villages like kineton, Wellesbourne, lighthorne are already poorly maintained and at capacity
flooding is increasing year on year.

The local roads will not cope with an increase in the type of traffic that would be accessing these developments, light pollution would be an issue for both wildlife and the community of Gaydon. It would engulf Gaydon to its detriment undermining its rural nature.

I believe that using this land would avoid 'urban sprawl' of other existing towns and villages. Utilising this land would protect Greenbelt land and would help to take the awful congestion pressure off Stratford.

I strongly object to the proposed development off Lighthorne Road near Kineton. This plan violates NPPF policies on sustainable development (para 8), protecting rural landscapes (para 174), and overloading local infrastructure (para 104). The roads cannot support the increased traffic, and essential services will be overwhelmed. This scale of development destroys rural character and contradicts the council’s duty to promote balanced, dispersed growth. Building here prioritizes developer profits over community needs and fails to meet sustainability tests. This must be rejected in favor of a better-planned, infrastructure-led approach.

SG13 has an approximate capacity of 838Ha which would be an excellent choice for development, offering existing infrastructure and employment opportunities. Choosing this area would negate the use of green belt land which should be protected where possible.

This is not a good idea to build a new settlement here. It is in a flood plain and with additional housing likely to overwhelm existing plumbing infrastructure and lead to more run off into existing villages of northern and Knightcote. There is no direct access via an A road. The only accessible road is the M40 which is already at max capacity from the new lighthorne development. There is no rail network as the rail company have stated they will not put a platform in. New settlement will impact the landscape environment of historical importance

The size of the development opportunity (in excess of 800 Ha) is a prime location having existing infrastructure and employment opportunities.
The use of this area and other non green belt would negate developing prime green belt land which should protected at all cost.

Strategic growth at this location is a smart solution. The area offers strong job opportunities, supporting the local economy and creating employment. Its existing road connections make it well-suited for development, ensuring smooth transport access. Building here would relieve congestion pressure on Stratford, improving traffic flow and air quality. It also helps preserve green belt land elsewhere by concentrating development in a suitable location. Additionally, it prevents urban sprawl, which often strains existing infrastructure. With careful planning, this can support sustainable growth while protecting the environment and enhancing the region’s liveability.
