I disagree with the inclusion of SG22 in the plan for the following reasons:
1. The detrimental impact on existing infrastructure in the Studley area , for example: educational facilities, sports facilities, medical facilities and the limited or zero opportunity for their development.
2. The detriment of such a development to existing road networks are already insufficient to cope with the current load. In particular, the roundabout above The Slough and all main roads into Studley.
3. The reduction in green space impacting on mental health and well-being.
4.The paucity of local employment opportunities, necessitating commuting and additional traffic pressure

The proposed site would subsume Middletown into Studley.
The local road network carries too much traffic and parts are already badly degraded due to overuse.
Local public transport is very poor.
The local high school has no sixth form and is currently oversubscribed.
Local health services such as medical and dental are under great pressure due to the existing numbers of patients.
The proposed site is on a large, sloping field that allows surface water to flood Middletown Lane. If much of this field is covered with houses, roads, driveways, etc. the flooding will be worsened.

The village dose not have the infrastructure to cope with such development, let alone the loss of yet more green space, we already have one of the busiest A roads running though the heart of the village

Neither Sambourne nor Studley's infrastructure would be able to withstand large scale development on this site. Although located in Sambourne potential residents will rely heavily on Studley's more urbanised resources., which are already depleted.
Travel to/from this site would only be viable via road for workers and deliveries.
The A448 already forms part of the Amazon routing strategy. Further development would require improvements at A448/A435 junction, Jill Lane, Middletown Lane and also Crabbs Cross island in Redditch.
The land is also currently Green Belt, so its inclusion should be deprioritised.

I am opposed to the planned 1000 plus houses to be build between Studley and Sambourne on the grounds of poor infrastructure. The ‘tick box’ attitude regarding infrastructure is simply not fit for purpose. Is there a school, doctors, road network ?? Tick, Tick, Tick. The fact that all these facilities and more are completely oversubscribed/ failing has not been taken into consideration. This needs to be sorted first before building more houses.

I wish to express strong objections to the proposed growth lactation SG22 in Studley. While I understand the need for new housing, I believe this particular location is wholly unsuitable.
It's already very difficult to get a Dr's appt in Studley and any development like this would further add further strain on the practice. The build area is home to important wildlife habitats. Air pollution is already an issue and for these and many other reasons, this development would significantly diminish the quality of life for residents.
There must be a more suitable alternative.

The traffic on Node Hill will be horrendous it is already a fast and busy road with multiple crashes yearly. This plan would increase this and make my family lives horrible and not a place to live. Studley is lovely village and is not built to provide for the additional houses and how will local schools be able to provide for the increase in people.

This will double the size of the historic town of henley in arden which already suffers flooding, road congestion, parking issues and sewerage capacity.
This proposal would require major infrastructure development to include relief road, school and nursery facilities, doctors surgery, flood relief provisions and parking solutions to name but a few.

Erosion of Green Belt will cause coalescence of communities.
Visually harmful to the landscape characteristics.
No public transport, so increased traffic on already congested roads.
More rat-running on already busy narrow lanes.
Local schools already over-subscribed.
Loss of valuable, productive farmland.

Regarding site SG22 - West of Studley:
Erosion of Green Belt will cause coalescence of communities.
Visually harmful to the landscape characteristics.
Limited local employment opportunities, so more car journeys will be inevitable.
No public transport, so increased traffic on already congested roads.
More rat-running on already busy narrow lanes.
Local schools already over-subscribed.
Loss of valuable, productive farmland.

Local infrastructure does not have the capacity to increase the population in this area:
Schools are oversubscribed with waiting lists in Studley and parking is already at capacity
Only 1 GP surgery
No NHS dentist
No Post Office
No Banks
Traffic already queues at the Slough roundabout on the A448, the small roundabout could not cope with more traffic
The land should be used for much needed agriculture
The A435 traffic already produces high levels of air pollution, introducing another few thousand vehicles to the A448 would overwhelm the local population with air pollution, causing health issues.

Studley and Astwood Bank are already at capacity with traffic and infrastructure. There are no banks, the schools are oversubscribed, parking for school drop off and pick up is dangerously overcrowded and all roads in and out of Studley are already very congested and when there are traffic lights, the queue often stretches the whole length of Studley on the A435. Extra traffic would increase air pollution which would harm pedestrians.

Location not suitable. Studley is already over capacity for available resources and infrastructure. The roads there are not able to feed or cope with an increase in traffic. Health service in local area over capacity. Better locations nearer Stratford were there is a better infrastructure.

I do not agree with this proposed strategic growth location as it will be doubling if not tripling the population of Studley's population and therefore over crowding the area. There is not enough amenities, schools, doctors, shops, hospitals etc to cater for this amount of growth. To build over 1000 properties in this area will not only be crowded and tight, it will make the roads constantly congested. The roads are already busy as this is between and main access to Astwood Bank, Studley , Sambourne and Coughton.

The building of new homes in this area is unsustainable based on the facilities available. Local services are already at capacity, in particular emergency services. The local hospital, Redditch, has recently had its maternity ward taken away. 1,000 homes cannot be built with no maternity ward nearby. Using Warwick or Worcester will be unsustainable. Local schools could not support an influx of new children. The local roads and infrastructure cannot support this volume. Finally, this is green belt land.

This proposed location and proposed number of houses to wholly inappropriate due a number of factors:-
1) Lack of required infrastructure to accomodate the increase in home (i.e. schools, hospital services, doctor & dental services)
2) Current lack of road safety and accidents on the A448 with current levels of traffic. Any increase in road traffic will increase the liklihood of accidents and potential fatalities on the A448
3) Road congestion on the A448 from Studley to the A441/B4504 roundabout junction. Road traffic already queues for more than 1/2 mile from this junction on multiple occasions on a daily basis.

SG22 proposed area is completely wrong - headed
Criteria are inaccurate in that whilst there are schools locally they are all full.
The land is valuable agricultural land.
The infrastructure to support such a development cannot cope with the volume of traffic.
Environmental impact is immense with significant risk of flooding on land that already has significant problems with water run off and flooding of houses in Middletown lane. it also destroys the uniqueness and heritage of Sambourne village
Local roads cannot cope with increased traffic volume as already under pressure. Take a look at the Crabbs Cross

This site is a convenient extension to the already dense area of housing and thriving settlement of Studley and therefore one of the most desirable sites for housing development in the proposed plan. It is in direct proximity to all the existing community services and facilities available in Studley and feels appropriate in size to the existing settlement. The existing road network provided by the A448/A435 and close access to Redditch for healthcare, education and employment as well as retail and leisure gives this site an additional important and clear advantage over others.

I am shocked by these proposals and totally against this. This is green belt land and part of our rural community. It is destruction of our countryside and totally out of context with the landscape. The infrastructure is at capacity now. The roads are a disgrace and would I presume entail street lighting etc polluting the environment .

The infrastructure of the local communities is already inadequate for the existing population
Health care and education are already over subscribed.
Traffic volumes for the highway network is already congested with no plan for resolution.
Sewage and drainage already over capacity
Environmental impacts to rural communities
Pollution impacts for existing residents
Emergency services already cannot cope with demands
Local hospitals already inundated with accident and emergency cases.
GP practices oversubscribed already
Waste collections already stretched.
To add another 1800 houses into an already struggling community would be grossly incompetent by Stratford Council

Education & Health - insufficient capacity to deal with large increase in population
Transport - busses are few and irregular. nearest train station in central redditch. Would lead to big increase in cars. Roundabout on border with Crabbs Cross already struggles with current capacity.
Character - Studley would consume Midtown. Becoming a town rather than a village.
Environment - visually would be a huge impact - instead of green fields would have huge development overlooking the village (as sits above the level of most of the rest of the village). Light and car pollution would increase. Loss of walking land.
