Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The proposed allocation(s) (ref. 409 & 510), especially 510, would present a development that would be wholly out of keeping with the nature of the surrounding area and village. The development of this land would also fail to meet any of the exceptions listed in paragraph 154 of the NPPF as well as the ‘golden rules’ under paragraph 156 of the same document relating to release of green belt land for development. Finally, the existing infrastructure would be substantially below that required to support such development, including the road network, public transport service, and utilities.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Site refid 650 (behind Appleby Close) will negatively effect all of Appleby Close. The access point is already a dangerous junction and we worry about our children's safety when crossing the road. We regularly use the public footpaths going round and though this site and are concerned about the impact on the population of rare Yellow Hammer birds that nest in the hedgerow on the north boundary of the site. Yellow Hammer populations are in decline and are now on the conservation concern red list.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Site 757, strongly object to this type of development. Reasons for objection. Flooding concerns, noise pollution and light pollution. Additional traffic passing through with speeding concerns already present in the village. With all the suggested sites, I'd like to know how the search and rescue would cope when the village is cut off by Flooding with a potential Additional 300-400 houses +/-700 people. I don't see this village being a nice area if this type of development happens. Also this area is a wildlife conservation area shown by picture attached.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

REFID 95 Land at Old Budbrooke Road, Hampton Magna. Inappropriate development of green belt. Detrimental impact on local residents with insufficient infrastructure, doctors/shops/school, to support new homes. Existing homes already struggle with water supply and drainage. Significant negative impact from further traffic on narrow roads, significant risk of crashes. Adverse impact on hedges/trees/habitats including surrounding area which is not suitable for construction traffic. Character of existing village will be diminished. Previous planning applications for this site have always been rejected so inclusion now after a change of ownership could result in legal action and investigation of impropriety.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Strongly object to this development, same reasons as for all sites 620, 757, 133 and 650. Flooding will be increased, traffic though the village (speeding concerns), noise and light pollution, the impact on residents and wildlife. The development of the village of this scale is morally wrong and those making these decisions should look at other sites prior to this like the old school by the tennis courts in alcester as an example been left empty for years, not taking green land for poor quality housing .

REFID 245 Land at Warwick Parkway Train Station, Warwick. Inappropriate development of green belt. Insufficient infrastructure, doctors/schools/nurseries/etc, with detrimental impact on local residents. Significant negative impact from traffic on A4177. Adverse impact on hedges/trees/habitats. Site connects several distinct locals creating urban sprawl. New dwellings will be out of character and visually unattractive in the context of existing greenbelt – also visible from green corridor of canal and towpath. Area already suffers from some flooding that will be made worse. Access to Warwick will slow reducing trade footfall. Insufficient train capacity from local station that cannot be increased inline with demand

RefID133 Land off Spernal Lane

We feel that development would be inappropriate for reasons stated below. Nonetheless, should development be approved, a mixture of types and sizes of homes is required, including bungalows, with significant proportion affordable.

Reasons for objection:
• Green Belt
• Narrowness of Access Road
• Private Land Abutment
• Road Safety:
- Several Access Points within 200m,
- Speeding on Spernal Lane
- Volume and type of traffic
- Pedestrian Access into Village
• Surface Water % on Land and Spernal Lane, greater than HELAA B assessment
• Transport score challenged.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

We strongly object to the proposed development on Site 712 due to severe highway safety risks along Church Lane, a narrow, pavement-free route heavily used by schoolchildren walking to Barford St Peter’s School. Increased traffic, particularly construction vehicles, would endanger pedestrians. Additionally, the site lies within the Conservation Area, harming the historic character of Church Lane and nearby listed buildings. Development would also destroy mature trees and important habitats, conflicting with environmental policies. Finally, the site is unsuitable under local planning policies, with flood risks to nearby homes and clear non-compliance with Barford’s Neighbourhood Development Plan.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I object to the proposed development on Site 712, having serious concerns over access, pedestrian safety, conservation, environmental harm, flood risk, and policy non-compliance. Church Lane is unsuitable for increased traffic, particularly endangering schoolchildren. The development would harm the Barford Conservation Area, damage historic properties, and disrupt important wildlife habitats. Increased flood risk due to inadequate drainage is another major issue. The proposal violates key Warwick and Barford planning policies, including those protecting heritage, character, and ecology. Given these impacts, I urge Warwick District Council to refuse the application to safeguard Barford’s safety, heritage, and environment.

Rear of Grove Croft, Hampton on the Hill, CV35 8RJ (Ref ID 51)
Development of this site will impact negatively on the rural character of the area. It's size is disproportionate to the size of the existing residential hamlet. Water supply issues, including sudden loss of water, burst pipes and other problems relating to the age of the water infrastructure make this site unsuitable for residential development becasue it will exacerbate the existing problems associated with sub standard water supply. The development will increase traffic in the area.

Increased population, minimal bus service, rural infrastructure - 'well connected' not satisfied

Ref: HELAA Preferred sites listed to the south and south-east of Leek Wootton by The Warwickshire and adjacent to the A46. Being involved with the LW Village Plan these 2 preferred sites far exceed what was proposed in The Plan. The map itself also does not show the new development by Cala Homes on the Warwickshire Police land. These 77 new homes in this small rural village. Why has this not been taken into account? Overall the sites around LW connect it to Kenilworth and Warwick. This completely compromises this rural village status.

Ref 573

village access is via 3 roads the main road being a single lane under the railway bridge. This gets congested at busy times ,extra houses and cars it would cause even more issues. This road is also prone to flooding , therefore more houses would make the issue worse.
• The air pollution from the extra traffic
• major impact on the greenbelt less wildlife
• loss of views from bridleway on field 573
The Dr’s surgery and school wouldn't meet needs
• extra drainage issue as pipe work inadequate
• More regular power , broadband issues.
