The roads that would be impacted by this industrial development are inadequate. There is not the capacity for the amount of traffic that this would generate. In addition public services such as sewerage, water supply and electricity capacity is also inadequate.

I am against this due to: the loss of green belt and that Warwick and Hatton will merge; the present roads are not suitable to cope with all the extra traffic; the impact this has on the rural area and it's character - leading to the loss of well used public footpaths which are much enjoyed in this green ,rural location.

It's greenbelt. Additionally, the district is already absolutely choked with traffic and Warwick Hospital is not coping. Birth rates are now declining.

Sacrificing large scale green belt will have a huge environmental impact on natural habitats and increased air pollution due to the increase in vehicles.
The Birmingham Road is already very busy and lorries frequently use it as a corridor to link to the M6. Any issues on the M40 bring excessive traffic along this route and queues into Warwick develop.
We already have industrial sites in Warwick ( Saltisford, Wedgnock and Tournament Fields as examples) Dangerous queues already form frequently on the slip road from the A46 to the A4177 , which will worsen if the proposed site goes ahead.

I strongly object to a large industrial estate in an area of natural beauty. The increased number of lorries would bring about noise and air pollution to our beautiful rural community. The roads leading to the proposed development are already at near full capacity-birmingham road, stanks island, longbridge island and this would put additional strain on them. It would also lead to the permenant loss of countryside, habitats and wildlife.

Development of this green belt would deprive residents in the Warwick and surrounding area of the access to the countryside and nature, as well as resulting in both Biodiversity and Environmental damage. Infrastructure and sustainability make this site unsuitable for the proposed development. The junction at Stanks Hill/Roundabout is already at capacity, possible development would increase traffic volumes and congestion.

The development of this site, along with B1, would in effect join Warwick with Hatton and enlarge the already significant conurbation that is now adjoining Coventry. The purpose of the Green Belt is to prevent this, and as most of theses sites is within the Green Belt, they should be rejected.

This area is good agricultural land and in the green belt and should not be considered for development. There is also sufficient grey/brown land to meet housing requirements without developing on green belt land.

It is possible to meet housing need WITHOUT building on greenbelt land because sufficient capacity exists at Strategic Growth locations outside the green belt to meet the Local Plan dwelling requirements to 2050. Therefore, exceptional circumstances cannot be met to release green belt sites (including SG07) to meet the housing requirements of Warwick district and Stratford on Avon district.
SG07 fulfils the stated purposes of green belt land.
SGO7 is High quality agricultural land and makes important contribution to sustainability and security of food supply.

The development is within the Green Belt and will lead to irreversible habitat loss, and environmental damage, and inevitable sprawl from this point westwards.
The site is situated next to A46 junction with Birmingham road which is already busy. The increased traffic along Birmingham road will increase air and noise pollution impacting local residence. While positive that there is local station (Warwick Parkway), its still likely to lead to increased traffic (i.e. sites with large car parks etc).
Other areas (brownfield) should be used as per the strategy, or radical approach to development which can somehow increase in biodiveristy.

This is within Green Belt land and will lead to permanent damage to the environement and biodiversity which is in dramatic decline already.
The development with worsen already busy traffic in the area increasing noise and air pollution to the detriment of local population.
The only positive is the proximity to Warwick Parkway Station, however there is no indication that such development will activley discourage road use or physically limit it.

I believe that any new development in this area will further overload the current overloaded highways infrastructure. There are already major traffic problems in the area and if the new Site B1 Hatton development goes ahead, this will make matters much worse. Substantial investment will be needed to widen the A4177 Birmingham Road and the A46 and M40 junctions.

There are 4 main reasons why SG07 is a bad site for development. The reasons range from transport problems to aesthetic considerations. We are sleep-walking into a tragedy.

Green belt land which is important for farm land which is farmed and managed. Villages need green belt land as this creates communities . Warwick has undertaken new houses projects which appear unable to sell due to high prices and lack of suitable affordable houses. Location of house are not suitable for families and older population due to lack of transport services local shops not within walking distance.
Infrastructure roads and railways at near full capacity.
Warwick Hospital , GP's Mental Health Services are unable to cope with on going demands increased population.

Stanks roundabout has recently been upgraded to take the extra traffic using it. There is little scope for further improvement and the junction is still busy. I do not think this junction can take the extra traffic that this site would bring with it.

This site is too close to warwick town centre and the current road infrastructure could never support it. The other sites closer to the M40 are simply more practical on top of not being green belt. Specifically SG09, SG10, SG13, SG14. I heard they may require re-working the M40 junction near them, however this work will need to be done either way with the growth plans in the area.

SG07 is entirely unworkable due to the lack of infrastructure in the area. The proposal will make the area unsafe and unhealthy for residents given the increase in traffic in an area without pavements and limited roads. It will increase pollution in the area.

The Birmingham Rd, Henley Rd & A46, around Warwick suffer constant congestion and more so when the M40 has issues.
All development under SG07 & SG08 (including their numbered REF ID's) would add to this traffic load significantly.
Current GP & Schools capacity is already under heavy strain.

It is already difficult to get a GP appointment at Priory.
We are applying for 6th Form 2025, and two have said that they’re unprecedentedly oversubscribed. One issued us with an early rejection, citing the number of applicants this year, despite our student having the required predicted grades for entry.
Went to Warwick A&E in 02/25–no seats free in waiting room, was there for hours, dr examined me stood in the corridor, due to lack of space.
Birmingham Road is often backed up headed east toward Warwick/A46–often 2 miles past Hatton Arms Pub.
Inappropriate to develop Green Belt.

I travel regularly to the Hatton area to visit family. I am extremely concerned about the impact on the local roads with the proposed development as the majority of traffic from the proposed site will lead to the Hockley Road, Birmingham Road junction causing severe traffic congestion. I am unable to travel by train or bus to the area as the local transport is limited.
When visiting the area I enjoy the walks through the greenbelt land and note that most is farmed land. I am concerned about the impact on the food production in the area for future generations.

This site is actively farmed land and such farm land is important for our food production. Other sites are not greenbelt or farmed. The site is based near Stanks Island that only recently had a large redevelopment. Traffic reports show that further traffic to this island will cause the A46 and roads to Warwick and M40 to be locked preventing the existing community from being able to commute to work or leave the area. The local hospital and services cannot support further development in this area. This will have a detrimental impact on myself, family and local community.

This location should be considered, not simply for employment use, alongside B1 and land between the two areas and around Warwick Parkway station as a New Town or similar 'planned community'. The Councils should consider how, if any, sites meet the new Grey Belt tests. The SA documentation needs to reflect this option and cumulative impacts. As a whole this intervention could deliver a significant amount of the SWLP 'to find' development/housing 'needs.' Both Hatton and Warwick Parkway are main line train stations to/from Birmingham and London.

Sustainability appraisal suggests the special Circumstances for developing greenbelt land are not met (I.e demand can be met outside of greenbelt).
This risks connecting the urban areas of Warwick with B1 through to the West Midlands urban area over time.
