I am lodging my objections to the proposed South Warwickshire Local Plan, particularly concerning Ref ID 733,677, 610 and 115. I am concerned about increased traffic on Old Warwick Road, which is already dangerous and lacks adequate public transport. The local healthcare system is under pressure, and the existing schools cannot accommodate the expected influx of children. Utilities such as water, sewerage, and electricity are already strained, and the proposed developments would exacerbate these issues. Additionally, the impact on local wildlife and the environment would be significant, threatening the character of Rowington and Lapworth.

I object to the proposed development in Lapworth- Ref ID 235, as it threatens our village's beautiful green fields and wildlife. There are numerous disused sites nearby that should be utilised instead. The current infrastructure cannot support the proposed increase in traffic, and our local facilities are already at capacity. The 'Swallowfield' development is poorly located, far from amenities, and would lead to more urban sprawl. This area is close to National Trust sites, and the development would harm our countryside character, wildlife, and create further flooding and traffic issues. I urge consideration of alternative options.

I oppose the development of site 693 due to multiple concerns. There is inadequate educational infrastructure, as the site lacks primary and secondary schools, placing pressure on existing institutions. Environmental issues could arise from increased traffic and construction, despite the site not being in an Air Quality Management Area. Additionally, while the site is deemed well-connected, it lacks nearby employment and essential services, raising accessibility concerns. The development could disrupt the local community's character and safety, particularly for children. I urge the planning committee to reconsider this site in favour of alternatives with better infrastructure.

St Philips believe the land at Brickyard Lane Studley, assessed under Site Reference: 337, is suitable for short-term development if allocated in the SWLP. St Philips affirms the Site is 'suitable, available, and achievable' without environmental or technical constraints. We plan to submit a full planning application before the Examination in Public, aiming for delivery within the first five years of the SWLP period. Additionally, St Philips is committed to sustainable growth and will provide further technical work to address any potential negative impacts from development.

I maintain my objections to the infill sites proposed around Lapworth and Rowington, particularly concerning site 22 - Kingswood Cottages. This land, located behind my property by a brook, is on a flood plain and has already suffered from flooding due to previous developments at Kingswood Green. The brook has inundated the area several times, rendering roads impassable. Additionally, this site is home to wildlife, such as deer and slow worms, and is adjacent to a canal conservation area. I also question the accessibility for emergency vehicles in this location.

Parcel 700—Land SW of Radford Semele. I’m fully in favour of the usesage proposed as it is adjacent to Whitnash NR and Brook and could allow extension of the habitats and foraging areas for the many badgers and other wildlife that use the area and nearby hedges.

Parcel 658—Land of the so-called Greenfield Road (although this is a bridle path on my map). I consider that its proposed use for Housing to be wholly inappropriate as it frequently floods along the brookside and slopes steeply up, so reducing any area which could be built upon. It does, however, offer an area which could be used as flood mitigation and if added to the adjacent plot (parcel 700), would be a valuable addition to the Wildlife Reserve.

I strongly advocate against any further development in the greenbelt, as there are sufficient existing options available. I find it crucial that the HS2 route is included in the plan, given its significance. Additionally, development should not extend over HS2, as this would threaten the greenbelt between Leamington and Coventry. I raise concerns about site 569, requesting its removal from the local plan due to flooding issues, infrastructure limitations, and its critical role in maintaining the greenbelt between Leamington and surrounding villages. Thus, I see no benefit in proceeding with this development.

I oppose several proposed infill sites in the South Warwickshire Local Plan for Lapworth parish, which could increase the population by over 3000 residents. My specific objections are to the following sites:
1] Land East of Station Lane; Kingswood, B94 6JF
2] Land at Station Lane, Kingswood
3] Land at Station Lane and Meadow Lane B94 6LR
4] Swallowfield, Land to North of Rising Lane, Kingswood
They would disrupt the village character and wellbeing of current residents. The existing transport infrastructure is inadequate, leading to increased car dependency and pedestrian risks, especially for schoolchildren. Furthermore, the area experiences flooding and lacks necessary utilities. Additional housing would strain local amenities and the GP surgery, negatively affecting community health.

I strongly oppose the proposed housing development in Lapworth parish, which aims to increase homes to around 7000. This expansion would fundamentally change our village into a small town, harming its rural identity. My key concerns include the strain on local infrastructure, the loss of village character, environmental impacts, the lack of justification for such a large project, and the widespread community opposition. I urge reconsideration of this development to protect our village's character and quality of life, and I welcome further discussion on alternative solutions.

We would like to express concern about this specific section of SWLP:-
An application was submitted to SDC in 2024 for an equestrian facility on this site (23/02902/FUL). Chesterton and Kingston Parish and a number of its parishioners expressed serious concerns about the safety of vehicular access to this site. SDC turned down the application, predominantly based on concerns about vehicular access from Highways. We feel that the same road safety access concerns remain with potentially many more vehicular movements associated with multiple houses compared with an equestrian facility.

I have several concerns regarding the HELAS assessment of site 569, which I believe should be removed from the local plan. The site is only suitable for a dispersed development model, which has been dismissed. The assessment underestimates the flood risk, as areas beyond the site have flooded multiple times this year. It fails to recognise the importance of the greenbelt in preventing the merging of Leamington with surrounding villages and does not account for significant infrastructure limitations, including narrow access routes and inadequate transport options. Development here would be heavily constrained.

I object to the proposed development of land east of Station Lane in Kingswood [Ref: 169 and 514], currently designated as Green Belt. I believe that any potential sustainability benefits do not justify removing this land from the Green Belt, particularly given the limited public transport options and the anticipated increase in car travel, which raises serious safety concerns. The development would also harm the village's rural character, impact local amenities and recreational spaces, and exacerbate flooding risks. Overall, Kingswood is not a suitable location for such large-scale housing development, and I recommend against it.

I strongly object to the Hatton New Community proposal, as this countryside area is vital for well-being, attracting many visitors for activities like rambling and cycling. Its beautiful scenery and open spaces are enjoyed by all. This land supports farming, and is essential for food production. Increased traffic would harm our wildlife and environment. We need to protect our green belt, especially after many sought refuge in nature during Covid. Instead of developing green fields, I suggest repurposing empty properties, unused industrial areas, and vacant shops or offices. Green fields are our greatest asset.

I am a resident of Hatton and wish to formally object to the proposed development on Site 160, as outlined in the South Warwickshire Local Plan. My concerns include the significant impact on a cherished community space used by local Scouts, the introduction of light pollution affecting wildlife and Scout experiences, and the undermining of the greenbelt's purpose, which preserves the rural character of the area. I urge the planning committee to reconsider this development, as protecting our community spaces and natural environments is vital for future generations.

I formally object to the proposed developments at Chessetts Wood Road and other sites in Lapworth. These developments would significantly harm the village's character and rural appeal, disrupting the landscape, natural beauty, and biodiversity. The existing infrastructure cannot support the anticipated traffic increase, leading to safety concerns and pollution. Furthermore, the developments threaten agricultural land and flood resilience. Local services are inadequate, with persistent water shortages and poor mobile coverage. I see no justified local need for such extensive developments and urge the council to reconsider these proposals.

Building work in Lapworth would harm local flora and fauna, and flooding is a concern due to the village's location in a dip. The narrow country lanes, lack of footpaths, and insufficient parking exacerbate transport issues, particularly during school times. Commuting is challenging, as there is no regular bus service and main roads are congested. The area attracts visitors to its historical houses attracted by its unspoilt beauty. Infill site No 22 has been previously denied planning permission due to its designation as a flood plain. I request that these infill sites be withdrawn.

I strongly object to the proposed C1 settlement and 18 infill sites at Lapworth and Rowington. This development would destroy rural heritage, harm greenbelt openness, and negatively impact wildlife due to light and noise pollution. It threatens vital farmland, would exacerbate local traffic congestion on unsuitable roads, and strain already limited community infrastructure, including schools and healthcare. Additionally, the local train station lacks adequate facilities. The proposed development would irreparably alter the landscape and historic sites. In my view, this is an inappropriate development for our rural village.

I wish to object to the plans on building industrial buildings and houses around Hampton on the hill and Hampton magna that have been put forward.
This will destroy the villages and also increase traffic probably 4 fold. It is far too busy on the Hatton road as it is let alone before hundreds more people and businesses add to the traffic.
There are surely other brown field areas that could be selected rather than carving up green belt land.
Please note my strong objection to all plans around these two areas. It will ruin the landscape and add further pressure to roads in an already very busy village.

I am formally objecting to the development of sites 30 and 169 as outlined in the South Warwickshire Local Plan due to several concerns. The sites significantly contribute to the Green Belt, and their development would undermine its purpose. There are environmental risks, including potential habitat loss for local wildlife. Additionally, the local infrastructure cannot accommodate the increased demand, and traffic from the developments could worsen congestion and safety issues. The area also faces flooding risks and is near important heritage sites. I request that these proposals be refused.

I wish to express my concern regarding the proposed housing development on site BW 673 (Bearley Farm). I urge the SWLP committee to reassess both the site proposal and the Housing Land Availability Assessment results. The site conflicts with key principles of the Bearley Neighbourhood Plan, which aims to preserve the village’s rural character and heritage. Site 673 is outside the built-up area, encroaches on the conservation area, and lacks viable access routes. Additionally, it is greenfield land that could harm local ecosystems.

I wish to formally object to the proposed developments of sites 30 and 169 at Station Lane, as I am a resident of the area. My objections are based on the significant impact on the Green Belt, potential harm to local wildlife and ecosystems, strain on local infrastructure, increased traffic and safety issues, flooding risks, and proximity to heritage sites. I believe these factors warrant careful consideration, and I urge planners and councillors to refuse the allocation proposal for these sites. Thank you for your attention to my objections.

I would like to object to the proposal for developing land adjacent to Rose Cottage number 205 on the calls for sites.
This is land under Harborough Banks and is a heritage site as a Roman Fort and also Roman pottery has been found on this land.
It is a green belt field and is home to a lot of wildlife whose habitat would be destroyed if this land were to be developed. The field and surrounding areas are prone to flooding and often stay under water after periods of heavy rain. There are a lot more suitable area that would be far more beneficial to develop.
Please consider my objection when discussing this site

I strongly object to the development of green belt land in Weston and Cubbington due to significant infrastructure issues. Access is severely limited, with narrow routes from Rugby Road and Hunningham Lane leading to an unsuitable Grade 2 Listed bridge. Additionally, the southern end of the site is prone to flooding, impacting roads and farmland. Furthermore, the ongoing disruption from HS2 construction on Rugby Road has created a permanent barrier between North Leamington and the Green Belt, making this development even more inappropriate.

I have concerns regarding the proposal for 156 dwellings on land adjoining Mill House in Lapworth. This development would significantly increase traffic on Mill Lane, which is already narrow and frequently used by walkers and cyclists. The existing GP surgery and local schools are at capacity, and the site is on Green Belt land. The development poses risks to wildlife corridors and would require extensive road improvements, causing disruption and pollution. I urge planners and councillors to reject this proposal due to these significant issues.

I am expressing my concerns about the proposed developments along Green Lane and surrounding areas as a Finham resident. I oppose the bus gate near Finham Primary School due to increased traffic and safety risks for children. The proposed roundabout at the Green Lane/Howes Lane junction threatens green space and large vehicle navigation. I support preserving ancient hedgerows and trees, establishing a green corridor, and protecting Anglo-Saxon remains. I hope the council considers these views to ensure developments benefit our community and environment.

I object to the proposal for 678 homes at Fell Mill, Honington, Shipston on Stour, ref ID148. Having lived here for over 40 years, I find it incomprehensible that this flood-prone area along the River Stour is being considered. We experienced significant flooding in 2007 and continue to deal with flood damage from November 2024. Additionally, the nearby sewage works is already struggling with septic waste, and ongoing sewage spills from new developments have affected homes in Darlingscott Road. I question how more homes can be supported in this context.
